His preschool at the time put on daily fact time with him, because he was so knowledgeable about ocean plants and creatures (thanks to the show). We purchased dvd after canceling Netflix and missing it. He’s now 6 and still loves to put it on :) Review: Octonauts at ease. - The Octonauts helped my wife and I get through a 10 hour trip to FL with 3 kids under the age of 3. Captain barnacles, you and your crew are a God send. And I appreciate you filming your adventures to help my kids focus on you instead of driving me crazy. I would like to know where a polar bear like you gets the funding of million, if not billions of dollars worth of equipment though? I mean most of the time you are helping a hermit crab cross the sea road. But far be it from me. You keep my children entertained so rock on with your bad self. I was a CNA for 11 years… and obviously was paid very poorly. So if you can pay your crew an honest wage for making sure a sea horse can make its way through the kelp patch then I’m impressed.
