At first I was skeptical due to price point.. however these things work amazing. We installed 1 in each bedroom (12k) and a 18k in the main open area. Even with 10ft ceilings, and a outside temperature of 97 degrees, the inside stays 65 with no issues. We keep them on dehumidifier just due to the humidity where we live (east TN) and it stays dry and cool. No change in electric bill and we are comfortable. I can't wait to try the heat feature in the winter! I did not realize how expensive it was to have installed. So it has been sitting in a box since March 1st until the electrician could do his job. I finally get it up. I'm very excited cuz it is hot as hell here, and it works one day, 24 hours My room actually felt cool. It does not work and the company will not back it up. They said there's no warranty even though it's brand new. They won't exchange. They won't help at all. So unless you're ready to throw almost $1,000 off the door, if yours doesn't work, I would not buy because there's no customer support for their product. They do not stand behind. Amazon won't stand behind it either. They told me no warranty as well. So if you really want to risk it, you better make sure you have the 1500 it took to install as well so you'll know in time to return it because you sure won't get a replacement if it doesn't work and you won't get customer service and there's no warranty. Sad and hot as hell.After this review they finally contacted me and they did send me the outside unit since the freon was gone. Right now I'm having to pay more money because the AC person says the leak is in the inside unit. If he can't find it, the freon with the new unit we'll just leak out.I would still get fair warning but at least they responded finally. Too bad it took this review for them to respond. They originally said they would offer a refund but they did not do that. If it doesn't work, I'll be really irritated that they just didn't refund it. Remind you several more $100 gone out. Well it is official, the electrician got it up and it does not cool, no freon at all. Do not buy. Took a loan out for another brand and it was put up no problems.
