It is pretty stable and does not move a lot. The price is also very good, because it is stable and holds many books. The set included all the tools and parts to build. It is also easy to access, and is about 4 feet tall, for those who are wondering. I also needed a second book shelf, because my medium-sized one was already overflowing, and this was the perfect size to store extra books I had lying around. I love reading, so it was very nice to have a second bookshelf! It was also pretty easy to assemble!
