Use it as the final finish on painted models or on bare plastic to reduce the plastic sheen. It is water based and may be applied to both Mr. Color and Aqueous Hobby Color acrylic paints. Can be used on slide marks. B503 Flat may become white if it is painted thick. Spray it thinly. For best results, do not use in a humid environment. Review: Does not replace Mr. Super Clear Matte for doll face ups - I got this hoping to use it instead of Mr super clear for dolls, but while it's a perfectly fine, matte finish spray, it doesn't have the papery texture required for using colored pencils on vinyl doll heads, even after several costs. Will this work on a doll (vinyl) face repaint ?** A: Hi, this is a lacquer type coat, once dried it will protect perfectly your work **Q: If i use this do i still need paint primer?** A: I would think so? This is typically applied as the very last step, so your paints should look better and apply easier with primer. **Q: Would this also be considered a satin topcoat?** A: Maybe given the material or color it covers. But it is not satin finish by nature **Q: Is this product more special or something cause this is 25$ and on a different website it’s 6.50$** A: Without seeing what the other product is on the other site I am unsure.
