I have a Sea Hunt boat that had 6.5” JBL speakers. They fit but had to drill new mounting holes. **Q: Mounting depth?** A: I replaced same speakers so wasn’t worried about death. I would guess 2.5 to 3” max. They work fine.Bought 6 of them **Q: These are 60w rms - what wattage amplifier would be a good match?** A: Approximately 50 W RMS per channel will get you all you need **Q: I am replacing a broken speaker and only need one.
