There aren't any serious tables anywhere near this price range. As such, THIS table isn't what I'd call a serious table. It's purely for occasional banging around balls and no one is comparing it to a Brunswick table or comparable name. This is just above Fisher-Price or Franklin quality that you'd find at big box stores. So keeping that in mind, you're getting exactly what you pay for. Maybe a little more, maybe a little less depending on your expectations.The unit comes in a single H-E-A-V-Y box strapped to an extended pallet. At MINIMUM, you're gonna need two people who understand they EACH need to lift their own ~150lbs of awkward weight. If you can't deadlift 150lbs, find people who can. Thus, I recommend 3 or 4 average people. Once you have it where you plan on setting it up, all you do is open up the box and attach the legs. Each leg gets secured with 4 small screws. Once the legs are attached, turn it over and you're DONE!You'll notice as soon as you go to attach the legs that the quality is about as inexpensive in materials and workmanship as you can get. Again...think of what you paid. It's all particle board or composite MDF. It goes together once with staples & glue from the factory. It isn't meant to come apart. And if it does, throw it out; you can't repair these types of materials.In my particular case, I was really contemplating what star-rating to give in the "easy to assemble". Mine was NOT easy to assemble because of a manufacturing assembly defect as shown in the pics. I had to modify a piece of bracing because it was not placed correctly and it prevented a leg from mounting. Can't have a pool table with only three working legs! Because this was in a basement, there was no way I was going to return it. Only because it was low quality composite materials, I was able to route out enough space to fit the leg in. This would probably be a show-stopper for most people, so take that for what it's worth.Beyond that...what else?Keeping in line with the quality of the build materials, the top side is passable. The felt is "good enough". It's a heavy nap, so it plays a bit slower. The laminate on top of the rails is also passable. A few minor bubbles here and there, but otherwise, fine. The bumpers and felt wrapping was fine. The plastic cups for pockets are fine, if not a pinch shallow.The bottom of the legs have adjustment screws to set the level. Mine needed effectively no leveling, so that was a plus! I just used a standard 1meter construction-grade bubble level. I didn't break out a machinist's level because this table doesn't warrant that.The only other major complaint I had is the supplied cues. They are exceptionally lightweight, like possibly in the 10g or less range. These lightweight cues and the heavier nap table surface make for a very challenging break and general playing. There's little finessing that can take place with that combination. Using the supplied cues, you have to be very heavy-handed in every shot.I didn't use the table tennis topper. I do know that it's really heavy and will also require two people to put it on the table. Which is fine because most of the time, table tennis requires two people. Nice how that works out! All the table tennis stuff is in its own box (shipped within the main box). I didn't pull it out its box so I can't speak to the quality. More importantly, I don't know if it has any pads or anything to protect the pool table rails from getting scuffed up.So in summary...I gave this purchase 5-stars based on what you get for the price. No one who's serious about pool is going to buy this table. But it is better than some 2-in-1 wannabe table from Franklin or other ultra-budget brandnames. As long as people don't go leaning on the table, or kids playing all over it...if you treat it as you'd treat a more expensive table, it should last. (Note about longevity...humidity is the enemy of low-grade wood-based parts which is the entire basis of this table. If this table resides in a high-humidity environment, don't expect many years of use before warping and general looseness starts to become evident.) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars found on Walmart, much better deal on Amazon *by C***S on Reviewed in the United States on August 16, 2013* I swear, Amazon buyers see whats doing well at Walmart, then make a phone call.The reviews were accurate regarding easy assembly. four legs (x 4 bolts each), four side pieces x 4 bolts each, add the feet, flip it over and done. that is a big deal as we get older. Nobody wants 4 hour assemblies.I did it alone, 75 minutes(including unpacking and leveling). With a friend, 30 minutes makes sense.I flipped the table over and upright myselt (I worried about the wheels collapsing with the stress but there was no problem. I turned the wheels all the way in - shortest possible - before rotating it upwards). The lifting upright was a little strain (I'm 6' tall 190 lbs.) but not too bad. Two people is a better idea. Two women of average size could do this.Caution assemblying the 4 legs, I had two correct and had to reverse the other two. There holes look the same, but aren't, just make sure there are two holes (half way up the leg) on the long side of the table when you place the legs. Only took a minute to correct my oops.Overall this is "very good pool table for a small area especially for kids". kids need it short to make the shots. 9 foot tables are frustrating to beginners. I had half a garage, 17 feet long x 9 foot width which works. Still need a short cue for some side shots. The two cues they provide are average and usable. They provide all equipment needed for ping pong and pool.It's playing size is similar to those quarter pay slot 6 foot tables at bars. So playing area is small 6'x3', outside dimesnions 46" wide x 84" long, 31" high. 250 lbs stated, seems about right.The tennis table top is cheap heavy pressboard, two pieces. which is nice for lifting. Still a bit heavy for each piece. Could use some lifting handles. Might be better to switch to high grade thin plywood.Haven't really tried it out yet.In leveling it, results were impressive. Easy task with impressive results. I think you'll be happy with the leveling capability remembering it's the lowest cost pool table you can buy. Balls roll straight, except a little turn towards the sidewall, but not too bad. Just out of the box maybe it'll improve a bit with time.Keep the cat off by making a cover (thick painting cloth, or thick plastic-water/pee proof) that hangs over the edge by 8 inches, so far the hangover of the material has stopped the cat from jumping up. Or, use the cardboard cover, cut it up. Might be better or worse. Let it overhang, cat will miss the jump due to the overhange. However the pool table felt had a scratch on it from the handling of the delivery guy. My greatest fear with this table... realized. I just prayed that there would be no scratches on the felt, which I read about in the reviews for this table. The delivery guy poked a hole through the box with his fingers to better handle the box and ended up scratching the felt on the table. Which also shows that the manufacturer could do a better job with packaging to protect such a critical part of the table, β€œThe Table!” Now I have contact the seller/manufacturer to see how they will handle fixing/resolving this. Arrrgh! Also he was the only guy to deliver and carry this 400 lb package to my house. There should have been at least two guys to deliver this heavy package. And the one guy had to leave it in my garage versus taking it to my basement where I was setting up the table. Therefore, my teen daughter and I had to strong arm it, with the help of a dolly, from the garage to the basement. The delivery really sucked!! Other than the scratch, the table is freakin awesome! It’s quite sturdy and stable. Built well from what I see so far. I plan to do an update to follow up on durability.
