Review: They do their job. - They are very slick, it makes my G502X feel even lighter, I had to lower my from 650 to 550 because it felt as if the small movements of my hand were amplified due to how slick the mouse becomes. I'll edit the review over time but I currently modded my daily G502X that I use for gaming on stream, we'll see if it pays off or has a learning curve, I forsee myself potentially swapping some of the original pads back on just to give it a bit more drag, but we'll see how it goes, I don't want to damage these new glass pads. Installation was easy however the pad they sent was dry to clean the original glue, extra scrubbing was required but worked in the end and the glass pieces fit perfectly into the original cut outs. [UPDATE AFTER A NIGHT OF STREAMING] I put my DPI back at my normal, did a lot of range testing (in game gun range) and managed to get back to my baseline accuracy. During the matches during close fights I found that the glass helped me micro adjust where doing so prior wouldn't even do a noticeable effect, I think I won a few fights due to it but I also lost a few due to over aiming initially, but after a while it felt normal again. Overall glad I got them and I didn't feel any issues due to the glass around the sensor of the G502X being replaced with glass like some folks including myself was worried about due to other brands not selling them in the kits. It also works with my Powerplay 2 wireless charging mouse pad.
Review: definitely glides - worth your money, but let it be known that these lowkey wont allow you to keep your mouse still. love it though

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Literally, no glide resistance !!
*by A***. on September 6, 2026*

Huge insane difference between the stock skates and these. Very aesthetically pleasing, the way they made my mouse glide entirely threw me off. Awesome product. Every bit of the price was worth it. Now for the test of them and how long they’ll last seems very very to be a long time.
