An attractive, if somewhat expensive bamboo screen for you door. It looks particularly pretty when the light shines through it.You can cut the width down to size with a small saw, and I believe, although I haven't tried it yet, you can take off the bamboo pieces from the bottom to reduce its overall length without the rest of the pieces all falling off.Be warned: this product is surprisingly heavy and you will be well- advised to hang it up with another person supporting. It was very difficult hanging it by myself!Also, although I find it quite attractive, I have many friends who find the noise of bamboo pieces constantly jangling around quite irritating. You will have to decide that for yourselves....

The density of the bamboo strings is excellent and just what we were looking for, a bit of privacy and easy access. The big drawback for me is the construction of the curtain, the strands are wire not cord or twine or plastic, the bamboo is then threaded onto the wire and it is kind of bent up up at the last piece of bamboo. If you snag a strand on your clothing (common) you end up losing the whole strand of bamboo and it is impossible to restring. I am tempted to take an afternoon out and restring the whole thing using nylon fishing line or something more flexible.
