Review: Easily connected to ELRS controller - Take note this does not come with a VTX (video/camera system) batteries, or a controller. But it bound to my ELRS remote out of the box. So initially I thought I had a motor issue, but it's operating normally. I bound the Radiomaster Pocket radio to it no problem, but when I armed the drone, not all of the motors were spinning at the same rate, and would almost stop at times. Immediately I thought it had bad motors or flight controller. However after a couple minutes I realized it's fine, the gyroscope is trying to level the drone. So once I got it in the air it flew fine. I do need to tinker with the settings and trim some, it wants to drift to the right. I'm new to fpv, so I'm not a great pilot. But if you've had some simulator time it's not too hard to fly. Great little learner drone. I ordered the Pavo 20 pro as well to do a compression if the two. Thus far, I'm happy with it for the price.
Review: This Just Became my New Favorite Drone. - Early review: Just received, and put the 03 air unit into the pavo frame in about 10 minutes binding included. I'm running it with the DJI fpv controller2 - first time I've run a non DJI drone with a DJI radio. Was a little sketch. I dunno why. It flies amazingly well! The tune is obviously tailored to the build as it is meant to be. I have another pavo 20 frame that I run analog - for fun, while I fly the spare parts around... and as smooth as that one is, this is silk with loc-tite. Smooth and locked in. I love it. It doesn't give super long flights, but I am also using small capacity batteries - 300-550mah HV 3s. The power is great on 3s, but still flies well on 2. Better for indoors, if you have a small house for sure! I've been flying several BetaFPV builds and RTF drones lately, and I find them to be a great balance of affordability and performance. I'm a casual drone pilot, so they fit. And I am rarely disappointed - in fact, they have been proactive with customer satisfaction, reaching out to me about an issue I wrote about. It feels like they're in it with me, and I like that. Overall, the pavo 20 as I run it has been a great surprise out of the box! Very happy! The entire power train is only 105-120 depending where you get it, and although several hd rigs will fit the mount, the 03 air fits like a glove, and makes for a quick, easy process. I was flying in 10 minutes! The cob LED looksgreat, but I am currently having issues switching it on and off. Probably me. I will update this review after I've put it to some work, crashed it a bit, and see if the sweet sweet taste begins to sour in time. I hope the aftertaste is as good as the first sip! Way to go, BETAfpv!

Take note this does not come with a VTX (video/camera system) batteries, or a controller. But it bound to my ELRS remote out of the box. So initially I thought I had a motor issue, but it's operating normally. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fun drone!

First drone ever owned. Flying under the recreational flyer act. This drone is awesome, managed to fly for more than 2 minutes without crashing today, on my first ever maiden flight outside. Calculated 30 crashes based in the amounts of videos automatically created. The drone did not break. Note that DJI remotes only supports Mode 1 and Mode 2 controller scheme for flying. When practicing on simulators, ensure you pick one of this, and not Mode 3 or 4. Tips to others configuring the Pavo with both a setup with both a DJI controller 2 and Googles. 1- UART is on port 5 2- update both controller and O3 air unit for initial setup and binding. 3- On the Googles, set the video to HD to match canvas from Betaflight. This would align the desired OSD on the screen. 4-I ran into a known behavior, where after configuration and paring the drone, the throttle would not work, but the other channels did. This prevented the drone from ascending after arming. To resolve this, make sure to backup your current save so you can restore from it afterward in betaflight. I updated the F4 controller using the text format firmware file through CLI(command line interface) in Betaflight, and then reloading my old configuration file afterward. The firmware can be found from Betafpv site. 5- Camera resolution set to 1080p/100fps will produce lower transmission latency while in FPV. 6- Watch the weight with battery on drone, it will influence the flying characteristics. On a windy day, I tried a 730MAH 2s battery and it was difficult to have control. It sag down too often. A 3S 550mAh battery performed well though. I was afraid it would be too fast, but it was just about right. Managed to keep the drone under control with it. 7-You need to practice on the drone simulators. With about 4 hours of practice myself, I need way more. Still a amateur. 8- For first flight, I would suggest to try it outdoor and away from people. Avoid flying on windy day. 9- In Betaflight, mode “user 1” is the assigned function that handles the LED strip. You can assign a AUX key to toggle the light one and off.
