Cowashed it first then did a quick light blow dry not straightening the crimps near the top. After installing I curled the hair and did not flat iron first. The hair is really light weight for its mass; but to do a full install I had to space the tracks two finger widths apart. I will be ordering another pack to have a fuller install next time as I hate feeling the braids underneath so easily when rubbing my hand down my head. The hair is pretty, smelled fine straight out of the pack, and only lost a strand or two when washing. The hair does require really high heat to hold a curl and you may need to use a spritz to get the curls to hold all day. I took away a star because the ad says 100g which should be 3.5 oz and the hair is only 3.1oz. Also, while the hair is 16in when stretched, in its crimped state it is only barely 15in and the fullness stops at 14in. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love...at second sight *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on November 12, 2017* I love this hair, but it was not love at first sight. Initially, the hair was stiff and did not appear clean. There was no pretty packaging, or nice boxing. The hair came in a plain cardboard box and each bundle was in a plain plastic Vinsteen. Once I washed and conditioned the hair, it was beautiful. There was some shedding, but not too much. Once installed, I noticed some tangled in the neck area, but again, not too much. I love that this hair matches the texture of blow dryer natural hair which means I don’t have to use a lot of heat to blend my leave out. The first picture is after I washed and partially dried the hair. I am so upset by the product I received in the mail. The hair quality has changed; either the wefts are thinned out or the length of the bundle has decreased. The thickness in this type of hair is missing. Not satisfied and returning.
