These devices are seriously over priced. The scorps were cheaper and better built. Havent Checked distance yet. I ordered 2 pair of these and 2 pair of Scorp M2D. Just based on weight and feel of buttons the Scorp is the far superior product. It is a slightly heaver but not quit as long. It is in not larger than the Sanzuco. The sound over the external speakers is superior in the Scorp as well. Now, here is the kicker... While waiting for someone from Sanzuco to respond to my programming question, the Scorp comes with programming software & a programming cable. Each scorp radio comes with a charger that will charge two devices at once..Sanzuco only one. The Sanzuco support is obviously going to be bad since I cant even get them to respond on here about buyin a programming cable and software. Fortunately for me, having seen how much better the Scorp M2Ds are, I won't waste my time with Sanzuco.I have 40 more radios to buy.
