It is recommended for dogs under 18 pounds with a shoulder height under 9". The set includes a .75-cup dog food bowl & a 1.5-cup water bowl. My golden retriever insists on drinking from my dachshunds small bowl instead of his, and makes a giant mess every time. I bought this to stop water from getting all over the kitchen floor. He still drinks out of this ridiculously small (for him) bowl, but the water is caught underneath and I don't have to clean up his mess 5 times a day. Highly recommend.
