These are "trauma" and "paramedic scissors". After receiving and inspecting a pair, I am dissatisfied. The overall quality is not high. Albeit made of stainless steel, they work "cheaply" and are made in Japan. My wife, who is in the medical field, took one look from about 10 feet away and immediately suggested she get me a "real pair". The quality is overtly apparent to trained medical staff and not good.
