The hole in the rubber seal you put your arm into is somewhat small but once over the cast, it sealed on my arm fine. You just have to be real careful not to rip the rubber seal. For me, it lasted 4 weeks until the rubber seal broke out. The plastic that covers the cast is still in good shape. My expectations were not high to begin with and it worked as long as i really needed it to.
