Do not dry them on the radiator, even a warm one - if you wash by hand, roll them in a towel then "stomp" on it to draw out excess moisture, then dry overnight on back of a chair and they will be ready to wear in the morning. Do not put them on over skin on which oils- or silicone-containing creams have just been used, as those will cling to fibres eventually ruining the stretch. Reduces swelling but you can tell where they end as it gets very tight sometimes around my knees where there is still a lot of swelling.
