**Q: Can more than 2 be connected to the Trio and are they wireless?**
A: Not more than 2 (unless you daisy-chain Trios);  no they are not wireless

**Q: Can i use these mics with my 8800 when connected via usb to a pc? im mostly using it this way, and not like a regular phone.**
A: no, they have a specific Polycom plug

**Q: Need longer cables for these. What connnector/cable do they use?**
A: Polycom cables. they sell longer cables for that microphone

**Q: Can the polycom realpresence trio 8800 ip conference phone work with 4 of the expansion mic's?**
A: Pretty sure it cannot, by itself.  It can only take up to two expansion microphones directly attached.  However - Polycom recently released firmware that will reportedly let you daisy chain an add'l Trio 8800 - which would allow you to add another phone, and possibly another pair of expansion microphones to the secondary Trio.
