I found the fit of the ammo holder very good; able to fully insert 6 rounds (some sidesaddles get more crowded as you load them, so the last round either doesn't go in to the base, or is just very tight. Not an issue with this one), and they stay there, even if the bases of the rounds are down. About a 5-10 minute installation. Two allen wrenches are included, one for the big screw at the rear, and another for the beensy screws that hold the shell holder to the base plate and fasten the clip to the baseplate.
