It is great for making cards because it is so white. I also cut it up to make swatch cards. This is perfect for those uses. The paper is durable but not super hard and toothy. It holds up to a lot of erasing. The only thing that I've seen bleed through is Copic markers and that is going to be the case for most sketchbooks unless you get one specifically made to withstand alcohol markers. I have used Posca pens on it as well and haven't seen bleedthrough.
