This product does not work with the Illy Y3. The water runs until the reservoir is out of water. I have gone back to using Illy capsules and have not had any problems with the machine working as intended and dispensing the correct amount of water based on the button that I choose.

Poor design
I bought 3 of these and they all have the same problem, water will not go through capsule when it is filled with coffee. They act like the filter is clogged, but they are brand new. If you loosely place coffee, water will go through, but it tastes like weak coffee, not espresso. I do not recommend.
