It great for your posture as well. What I like most about it is, even with a faja or shape wear I was still able to wear my clothes and not look boxy as if I was made and patch together. It gives great compression and you can tell the difference without it being so uncomfortable it's digging in your ribcage, breast( for those who may have had breast surgery) or your hello kitty 😺 (tummytuck, c- section incision area) it protects after you have been cleared to do so. You will see those abs starting coming. Why would anyone want to wear those extremely hard boards that's not the key. I had one and it was miserable to wear. I lasted 30min top and had to just foam, until i from another alternative. These are very firm but comfortable with a little flex and do exactly what they are made to do. As you go to stage 3 and so on you can wear waist trainers with these and not compromise anything.... I will certain be ordering more for this seller. The other 2 I brought last year and they are still in perfect condition. When time to clean them. The 10-12" boards were too large - this one is just perfect, covering enough but not uncomfortable when sitting down. I loved that the side flaps were softer and they wrapped around nicely. Yes, they are a little floppy so when positioning you need to make sure you're tucking it in and it's flush, but I figured out a system to make this work rather easily. The centre board is sturdy. It washes really well too. Ended up buying a second one to have while the other was being cleaned.
