Its not really super warm but its probably good for coastal sailing in the shoulder seasons, and its rather generously cut so you can easily wear a mid layer for warmth. I think the main difference between this and their skagen 2 appears to be polartec fleece linings, which I have to say feel very soft and nice. Everything is really premium on this jacket. Generous velcro on the cuffs, nice mesh lining, great collar and zippers, the hood adjusts well, and reinforced longer area in the seat is great. The outside hand warmer pockets are a little high up, and the way its designed the velcro has a tendency to catch on things.
