Usually lighter colors tend to be dull but the yellows and light blues are still very pigmented and pretty. My daughter uses these on her artwork and she loves them as well. Be careful since there is some bleeding, but it's not terrible.

Changing my review. Initially they did not color well. Now they are actually coloring very well. Not sure why, but using them a few days after receiving changed how they colored.
