But I've gone from giving that book a 5 star to toying between a two and three for this one. This author can write as verified by the 5 on the last book but this one just hit so many buffers I was left slightly disappointed. It was okay but things that I didn't like is that Andy had problems as detailed in book 2 and yet these were left unresolved and not mentioned but instead leaving this as the angst of the book we have instead a serious assault. Now I could of went along with that but I felt that it was glossed over and yes it could be argued that we all handle things differently but there was a phrase which I didn't particularly care for and that was that the attackers never knotted and only managed a thrust or two, so no I wasn't happy with that. I also wanted Freddie and Ethan to have a cameo especially at the birth but they were not mentioned at all yet we had Matt who we barely knew. The issue with xander was left unresolved to.So there were quite a few things I Did not care for and that I wished there was more detail on but there was some good parts too, I liked both characters, and even if it felt rushed there build up and interaction between them especially when jude was being tender towards Andy.
