**Q: What type of battery is in the chair for height adjustments?**
A: There is no battery.  See that little handle under the seat in the picture?  Pull up on it and you sink or if you push with your feet you will rise.  Main problem is that it is a heavy chair and trying to get a precise level is difficult.  Then if you don't lock the handle it can sink the next time you sit down.  I do like the chair but it is not the most practical for my needs.

**Q: Is this chair adjustable for a counter height desk?**
A: the seat height is 15.7-20.5 inch

**Q: Can wheels be added?**
A: you may need an other base

**Q: Can the back of this chair be removed and used as a piano bench?**
A: The back is attached to the rest of the assembled chair, so I don’t see why not!
