The pigment in this paint is very fine, so it's not just thinned craft hobby paint. Oh! I almost forgot to touch on messiness. This paint is water based, so it cleans up easily. After trying this paint through a few of my airbrushes, I pulled my gloves off, uncapped the bottle, smeared a little paint on my hand, waited a few minutes, then washed my hands. Even scrubbing under plain running water, 98% of the paint came right off my hands; Soap removed the rest.
