I love that there are lines on one side and blank pages on the opposite side - perfect for words + illustrations. However, the paper is not quite thick enough for markers.I bought these for my 6 year old to keep a trip journal on our recent trip to Ireland. We packed markers for this purpose and, unfortunately, the pages in this book are not thick enough for markers.
