Try a 400mm zip tie then cut off the excess length after attaching the bell as it would get in the way. **Q: Where can I buy the electric blue version** A: Hi. The electric blue version was made for the original promotion of Trigger Bell. This was discontinued and now we are focusing on the lovely jet black colour scheme. Thanks. Trigger Bell is designed to fit on the handlebar grip directly rather than the 22mm metal bar itself. This ensures the hammer is positioned in the best place possible for pinging. There's a fitting video and lots of examples of Trigger Bell on different types of handlebar, brake and gear combinations on www.triggerbell.com. Trigger Bell can attach to a 22mm bar if required and I'd recommend putting a small rubber shim between the bell strap and the bar to help keep the bell in place. Trigger Bell was originally designed for these types of shifters because traditional bells would normally be fitted so far away from the rider's hand. So, please guy with confidence. There are videos of how Trigger Bell should be fitted on these gear types on the Trigger Bell website (Google "Trigger Bell"). It may take a few minutes to get the fitting just right, but it will make a huge difference to your ride. Let me explain, installation is the simplest you get with an very secure fitting, quality is good and packaging was good. The feel of the leaver was great, but due to its shape and size it just didnt produce a loud or distinct bell sound. It certainly pinged but most didnt recognise the sound and if someone is wearing earphones there was no chance of them moving. It's very interesting and certainly if you need full control or arnt confident to remove your hands then this is for you. I bought it on the basis I didnt have the space for classic (without getting a bar extender) so this was great but it didnt do the job I needed so It had to get passed on.
