## Overview

The Fathom Multi-Function Reverb pedal offers four distinct reverb algorithms—Hall, Plate, Lo-fi, and Sonar—each customizable with modulation levels and tone-shaping controls. Designed for analog signal processing, it features momentary and sustain modes for expressive play, plus a trails mode to extend reverb decay after bypass. Compact and lightweight, it’s a versatile tool for guitarists and producers seeking rich, ambient textures with professional flexibility.

## Description

The Fathom is a feature-rich reverb with 4 different customized reverb algorithms to choose from. Easily go from tasteful, small room reverb to long, modulated trails dripping of ambient goodness. The toggle switch adds options for low, medium and high modulation. Use the dampen knob to fine tune the tone of the reverb's decay. The Fathom features 4 different algorithms. Hall - wide, open and vast with decay that ends with high-frequency roll off. X knob adjusts pre-delay. Plate - full body reverb with a smooth decay. X knob adjusts pre-delay. Lo-fi - filtered reverb with decay ranging from warm, to thin am-sounding radio. X knob adjusts filter width. Sonar - reverb fed with both a high and low octave with the ability to blend the octaves with the x knob. Momentary functions: when the pedal is in off position, press and hold the bypass switch to temporarily activate the effect to add a moment of reverb. Releasing the switch turns the effect off. Press and hold the sustain switch while the pedal is on, to sustain the reverb decay for a dreamy ambient decrescendo. Trails mode: To turn trails mode on or off, unplug the pedal and press and hold down the bypass switch for two seconds While plugging the pedal back in.

Review: Take the plunge! - This is a reasonably priced pedal that exceeded my expectations. Don't let the gorgeous artwork distract you--it's not a gimmick pedal, and has very subtle and usable reverb out of the box with minimal effort. It also gets into ambient, cavernous reverb just as well--the knobs/pots are great and make for smooth transition. My only complaint is that the top of the knob surface makes the marker lines difficult to read in certain lighting. Otherwise the pedal is perfect...impressive packaging too. Given the overall quality and tone I would definitely buy another Walrus pedal.
Review: Ambient delight - Great modulated reverb with 4 modes. Simple controls. Easy to dial in great sound.

I didn't know what to expect, or I expected something mind-blowing.. It's not mind-blowing, I think it's a sleeper, it sounds like a really good pedal that I'm going to develop a relationship with and learn its potential and capabilities. Only having sat down with it once it's already the best reverb pedal I've played. Also it was affordable, seems fairly easy to understand and operate. Thanks to the seller, Sweetwater, for the pedal and getting it here quickly and in one piece. ,dan'
