Arguably the most celebrated design school, Bauhaus thinkers felt the world needed to be fundamentally and critically re-thought, bringing “art into industry”. Good design became defined by minimalism and simplicity, this thinking and aesthetic approach to design has had a huge influence on rOtring design. The nibless fountain pen is unveiled. The model was to become affectionately referred to as “Tiku” around the world. The design combines the ink-flow regulator with a tubular nib and a regulator wire. The result is a classic needle point pen known by rOtring loyalists as the “Tintenkuli”. The Modernism movement in design continues to evolve with the adoption of new technologies into daily life across Western Europe. Modernists believed they could design a better society in which function dictated form.

**Q: What is the quality and cosistency of the ink flow? The Rapidograph version have some reviews saying the ink can stop flowing mid-line.**
A: I concur wholeheartedly with the previous answer. The only problem occurs when the pen has not been used for some time - a few weeks - when it can take some time to get it going, usually by shaking, tapping the nib on some paper, or resting the pen upright with the nib in some water. With regular use, no problem.

**Q: How do i fit the ink cartridges? Am i being thick? They look like they don't fit**
A: You unscrew the body of the pens and the cartridges fit onto the pen head, then your ready to draw. The college set has an ink reserviour which is refillable and i find it more suitable to use because if you have the ink bottle you will have less chance of running out of ink.....you just refill the reservoir...rather than have no standby if you unexpectedly run out of ink on your last cartridge. Hope this helps.

**Q: Does this College Set include a case?**
A: When I bought mine approx 6 years ago a box was included but I believe that the set new comes in plastic packing only so no case.
