I would have always have to use my fingerprint a couple times for it to work. Sometimes it just wouldn't work, none of the 10 fingers I put worked and luckily I was always able to go through the app to get my door unlocked. They informed me that the knob requires a USB A - Type C cable and not a fast charging cable. Once I used the correct cable, the knob charged without any issues.
