Review: Perfect - This dust collector fit my very old DeWalt orbital sander perfectly. In fact, it's better than the original dust collector. It has a slide lock to keep it from blowing off and spewing sawdust all over me (frequent occurrence with the original). It also converted the oval shaped out-vent into a circle so that attaching a shop vac has been made much easier. The price was right, and I'm very pleased with it.

This dust collector fit my very old DeWalt orbital sander perfectly. In fact, it's better than the original dust collector. Quick and easy installation, the sander bag fits my DW421 better -- more snug than the original. I'm not worried about it vibrating off. The spring and catch bag do their job. This along with a replacement sanding pad, made my DW421 work like its brand new again. 5/5
