It's hard for my son to get used to because of the nipple shape. It's nice for when I am driving, but occasionally he chokes on the amount that comes out in spurts. It gathers in the nipple and will be too much for his mouth at once. So it functions fine, but I don't recommend for 3 months. Definitely for older babies that can take a strong flow.
