When you wear it for the first time, turn the button on the side of the watch to wind the watch until it is wound. 2. Gently remove the button to adjust the time, then push the button back. 3. It has a florescent face and a window on the back lets you see the skeleton, which is also quite nice. Seems to be pretty accurate too. I am hoping it lasts a long time. One drawback. The chain itself was okay, but I did not like the swivel hook connecting the watch to the chain; a little flimsy and sharp edged. Seemed like it could be a potential source of scratches. I replaced it with a better chain.
