The one on the left weighs 374 grams and the other weighs 358 grams. Not bricks, but will hold steady to hold a few books if that is what you are looking for them to do.I got mine to serve as elephant "figurine like" decorations.The bottoms have a soft velour black pad on them to make them smooth for tabletops and glass surfaces. Unfortunately that also makes them too smooth for too many books and they slide out easily.My problem with these, and you can see from the close up image, is that there is slight imperfections on the "flat belly" areas that are keeping their faces from touching each other. From a distance or an angle you'd think they are smooshed together, but when you are up close or the right angle you can see the "crack" of light between them.
