I have to say, I was a bit put-off by Link's outgoing and mischevious personality at the start, since I'm used to him being not only the silent hero, but also a quiet ranch boy with an admirable work ethic, and the spirit of the hero. Think Mathew Cuthbert from Ann of Green Gables. In my head, he's always been a wholesome guy who doesn't have much to say, yet is an amazing listener. I still really appreciate the path they took with Link by giving him a backstory and adding a layer of depth, I also like to think of this as an alternate reality, one that adds a different spin from the TP world we've grown to love. I've felt so many emotions while reading this manga, so much nostalgia and excitement. As another reviewer pointed out, it really feels like I'm falling in love with Twilight Princess again.
