The grip is actually soft and it is large enough to provide relief to your fingers and the side of your hand where the pen rests. The ink flow is great. I just wish they sold refill packs for the pens in a 0.7mm tip. The cartridges also look smaller than more mainstream gel pen brands so longevity may be less.
