Review: Works good for the price. - I've only just received this, so I'll have to amend my review if it craps out on me, but as of now, it's working great. I bought it for the size and the price. I needed something small enough to fit in a bread box and this is perfect. It boils a full kettle in about 3 minutes 30 seconds, which is not as fast as my full size kettle, but good enough for me. Auto shut-off works fine. I love that it's metal inside, including the inside of the lid, to cut down on micro plastics in my tea. Also, the retractable cord is a huge bonus as this will need to be stored after every use. It's nothing fancy, but it's cheap, and as long as it keeps working and doesn't rust, it's perfect for what I need.

It holds just enough for one cup of tea or coffee so if you’re looking for something more, this little guy is not for you. When you take it off of the base after heating, the outside and bottom of the kettle is warm, but not hot — no need for potholders! It pours well, without leaking, except for a bit of steam coming out from the top at times (which it has a warning label for). It can be a tad noisy at times as it heats, but it doesn’t bother me in my situation. I could see it being a distraction or nuisance in a quiet office setting or something like that, though. If you’re looking for a safe, cheap, compact kettle for a single cup of boiling water, this is for you! I’ve had this for 4 months now, using it daily (multiple times per day) and it has stood the test, it works wonderfully and I am very satisfied with it for the price. Definitely fits all my needs!

I've only just received this, so I'll have to amend my review if it craps out on me, but as of now, it's working great. I bought it for the size and the price. I needed something small enough to fit in a bread box and this is perfect. It boils a full kettle in about 3 minutes 30 seconds, which is not as fast as my full size kettle, but good enough for me. Auto shut-off works fine. I love that it's metal inside, including the inside of the lid, to cut down on micro plastics in my tea. Also, the retractable cord is a huge bonus as this will need to be stored after every use.
