It's made from a highly durable, weather-resistent, waterproof, rustproof PVC material which is one of the best materials you can use for outdoor signs. This sign is .55 mils thick, which is just under the thickness of a United States Nickel coin. PVC signs vs. aluminum signs. In that we make both types of signs, it's been our experience that aluminum yard signs will dent, bend, and scratch much more easily than PVC signs. For this type of sign (a yard sign), we like signs made from PVC better than aluminum because PVC is rigid, but also flexible, and it doesn't dent or stay bent permanently like aluminum. This becomes important because yard signs are often placed in grass where they are likely to be removed and then replaced each time the lawn is mowed. This sign also comes fully assembled. It's mounted to a 36" long aluminum stake which will not rust as do stakes made of steel.
