I don't have a clock out there because you know..you get in the "time mood"....aw man it's 8 o'clock I have to go in ect.... so I would workout to songs.. I would play the stereo and count songs then when I counted 8 or 9 songs I would be done...however commercials and song lengths were inconsistent... and using my phone as a countdown time didn't work...could not hear with radio on...so I bought this timer and I use it as a countdown timer...I mounted this above the door, plugged it in, and used the remote to set to countdown the edit and set to 75 minutes...it has a 10 second countdown the begins the countdown...the time to count down or up is determined by you..the colurs are nice and vivid... this comes with an adaptor to plug in to standard house plug...and it has a usb so you can run it off usb power bank. you would thing 1 1/2 inch is small but it isn't..it's about the size of 3 keyboard keys high..and when timer is done it beeps.....also shows all zeros when timer is done. This gym timer is the perfect size for my bedroom gym.
