My vet had suggested pts or amputation. Reluctant to do either I purchased this product. I did have to provide additional padding due to my dog's thin, fragile skin. Within 6 weeks, I was able to remove the splint. She has been able to go on walks, slowly, and has even managed to go downstairs by herself.I would recommend careful measurement of your dog's limb before purchasing. Otherwise I'd heartedly recommend this. Given my girl a new lease of life and indeed extended her life. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars His whole demeanour has changed back to that of a happy dog. Amazon customer services were supposed to be asking the manufacturer for a translation, but 4 weeks on I'm still waiting. The lower strap is quite short, so make sure you measure carefully before you order. When fitting the support, it needs to be snug, but as the neoprene is slightly stretchy this isn't too difficult.
