I thought they might be difficult to install (arthritis interference), but I actually was able to get them on correctly & snuggly the first try! I would definitely recommend these to friends & family & buy again if ever needed. I haven't had the need to wash it yet (only had it on for one day), so I cannot speak to that feature. Hopefully they'll machine wash - cold - gentle & machine day low.
