I like how Umm Zakiyyah structured the days of Ramadan in the journal with a section on self-compassion. You can write every day yourself and read the encouraging quotes in the beginning, end and between the days of the journal. It is simple and powerful and suitable even for youth who are fasting their first Ramadan, though experienced Muslims will be able to relate more to the self-compassion part of the journal, because after many years of being hard on yourself in Ramadan, you really need to be kind to yourself.
