I will say I usually have to use about 2-3 to fully get all my makeup off if I'm wearing a lot of eye makeup. But even after using 2-3 wipes my face does not seem to get irritated at all. I do think they could be a little softer because they do feel a bit abrasive, maybe for exfoliation?? I'm not sure. I thought I'd keep them as back up when I ran out of my regular face wash which is the Garnier Micellar water. As it turns out I ran out of it right when these arrived so I figured I'd use them. I like them, but I don't love them. They definitely clean off makeup easily, but I'm not crazy about using something disposable like this (which is the reason for the micellar water, I can use washcloths with that) and these leave my hands kind of sticky - I always have to wash my hands after using them. I find if I don't put moisturizer on right after using it my face feels that way too.
