Neck piece is softer and very comfortable. No weird smells like other memory foam products. Easy to configure in a variety of ways for different positions. Perfect for post-orthopedic surgery recovery requiring upright/reclined sleeping. Height adjustable, materials are soft to the touch and almost “cooling” Velcro on neck piece is rather high, not suitable for shorter patients or more “slouched” posture. But it works fine without it.
