I thought why not. It works great on my GSD. As most know, GSD has a wire/course fur on their backs. My dogs fur is SOO Soft, even the coarser fur is sooo soft. It also helps with shedding, as while bathing him (I always brush before and after bath) the under coat just seems to fall off in the tub. I play a HUGE part of his fur softness to the quality of his dog food and treats, small part to his breeding and a added bonus to this shampoo. But this is a nice product and enjoy giving him his quarterly bath. Review: Great stuff! - Love the smell and it is gentle on my Maltipoo who was rescued from bad conditions. Her coat was dry and unhealthy but has improved with a better diet.
