They all fit in 10" standard size housings of undersink reverse osmosis (RO) or water filtration systems. Sediment filters (Melt Blown) remove dirt, sand, silt, rust, grit and other suspended particles up to 5 micron and Carbon Block filters remove chlorine, chloramine, color, odor and other suspended particles up to 5 micron in municipal and portable water to increase quality. Recommended replacement time for the sediment filter is 4-6 months or every 750 gallons of use and recommended replacement time for the carbon block filter is 8-12 months depends on the quality of the original water source.
