This is teflon and I have never used this brand, but I have useed teflon on saw blades and table saw tables in the past with zero issue. It just has to dry good. I think it would work perfect for your need. Also a good cheap lube you might have already is vaseline. I use this on my hinges for my outside gates. Twice a year I spray the hinges and the latches with this. The lubrication lasts ~ 6 months and doesn't cause dirt to collect where you apply it that make it look dirty or ruins the lubrication part of what you just did.
