For this, these sheets work perfectly. I'm a retired sedentary person so excessive soil isn't a problem for me. I tried half a sheet at first and wasn't pleased with the results so I now use a full sheet and am happy with the outcome. There isn't a strong perfumed scent in the one I chose, (fresh linen) but I've adjusted to that expectation. I use a spot cleaner for the rare occasions when I spill spaghetti sauce on my "chest shelf", and borax booster for undies, just to be safe.
