Review: Perfect! - My Yorkie is 1yr old now, she has had fly away hairs for so long...just waiting for her hair to grow! I have tried so many products before Pet Silk, which was recommended by my dog groomer. This product has been amazing! At first I found it hard to apply since it's a pretty firm gel, then I started heating it a little with my blow dryer - that made all the difference! I put her top knot in each morning, it stays all day. I reapply the next day and it hasn't created any build up. I will not use anything else! The container will last a long time, so it's worth the price. I am ordering a second one now to have in her overnight bag for travel :)

**Q: Does this product discolor white hair?**
A: I haven't noticed any discoloration on my dogs hair. But it is very sticky! Can only use a dab on fingertips!

**Q: I have a dog with shorter hair. Would this help keep her bows in.**
A: It helped my little miss Daphne hold her bows in when she was a little pupper.....I would use it again if I ever had to get her fur bows to stay

**Q: Is this supposed to be so thick you can barely get it out of the container?**
A: Betty, I wondered the same think. I believe we are just supposed to use a little of it on our fingers and rub it on the stray hairs. I recently ordered my first jar and have only used it once. My little Shih-poo puppy has hair that hasn't grown out enough to get it all up in her top knot. I so look forward to having it grow out so it isn't hanging down in her eyes.

**Q: Gel is the same consistency as olive oil. Is that the way it's supposed to be?**
A: No its kind of sticky it holds the hair in place in order for you to fix the top not. This item is nothing like olive oil.

It works okay....it has a slight yellow hue to it so it discolors my Maltese’s white hair but I need it to grow the hair out between her eyes.
