Review: Surprisingly great - I actually think this is how the live action film should've been done. Great twist and development of characters. Really surprised me how much I enjoyed it. Could be too dark for some youngsters that the book is aimed at, but as an adult and fan of Disney 1959 film it was must read.

I actually think this is how the live action film should've been done. Great twist and development of characters. Really surprised me how much I enjoyed it. Could be too dark for some youngsters that the book is aimed at, but as an adult and fan of Disney 1959 film it was must read.

I've become a fan of this little series! I finally know the order of the series and I can't wait to read more of the series. Like reading the others, I enjoyed reading this sort of story of knowing how things would have changed if Maleficent raised Aurora, just like in the live action film, and the three fairies were evil! I also felt that she bonded more with Prince Phillip a lot more than they do in the classic as they work together and discover things together! Loved reading this story and can't wait to read the rest of the books from the series!
